Il la purifie des effets burlesques  parfois         obsc\u00e8nes des grossiers \u00e9carts de langage\u00a0; il fait de  l\u2019intrigue  une        m\u00e9canique bien r\u00e9gl\u00e9e, il r\u00e9dige enti\u00e8rement les  dialogues  sans   laisser      de blancs pour les fameuses improvisations  devenues     conventionnelles.     Les personnages ne sont plus masqu\u00e9s.  Quelques     \u0153uvres parmi ses 212     pi\u00e8ces \u00a0: <em>Arlequin, serviteur de deux ma\u00eetres, La Locandiera, Les Rustres<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;         Gozzi (1720-1806) est traditionaliste\u00a0; il accuse Goldoni de        d\u00e9truire   la Com\u00e9die des Masques, donc la tradition. Il revient aux        personnages   traditionnels, \u00e0 nouveau masqu\u00e9s, mais cr\u00e9e des  mises  en      sc\u00e8ne   f\u00e9\u00e9riques qui ravit le public.
